MamiyaLeaf - Why the change?
Branding Exercise
On 16th January Leaf announced to the world that they had merged the Mamiya & Leaf brands. Their intention is to bring clarity to the market. By having a well known camera brand they believe this will avoid confusion caused by the Phase One name being associated with Leaf. As part of the re-branding exercise, Leaf have also decided to drop the Mamiya DM products and unify the range. All systems will now be advertised as MamiyaLeaf. The Backs will be badged Leaf whilst the camera & Lenses will be branded Mamiya. Don't worry Leaf have not forgotten their universal appeal and will continue to produce backs for Hasselblad V & H, Mamiya RZ, Contax, Leaf AFi, Large format etc.

Leaf RAW files now Aperture, iPhoto and Lightroom ready
Apple have recently announced the latest Mac OS/X 10.4.9 update which now supports the Leaf RAW files format.
There will now be full Leaf RAW support in Aperture and iPhoto for the Aptus and some of the Valeo range. This latest development follows Adobe's recent announcement that Leaf RAW files will be supported by the new Lightroom application.
